I have had over 40 years of experience as a professional artist in Australia and Italy working in the media of serigraphy, painting, collage, ceramic and relief printmaking. From 2012 I have concentrated entirely on linocut. I feel that linocut, whilst a simple and direct printmaking technique, offers endless aesthetic possibilities. It has a robust physicality and despite the considered nature of printmaking the results for me appear spontaneous and immediate. In 2013 I began incorporating woven linocuts and quilted linocuts into my work.
