For the second time I was one of only 25 printmakers to be shortlisted for the prestigious Rene Carcan International prize for printmaking. The exhibition of the shortlisted works will be in February, 2020 at the Bibliotheca Wittockiana, Brussels.

I have had over 40 years of experience as a professional artist in Australia and Italy working in the media of serigraphy, painting, collage, ceramic and relief printmaking. From 2012 I have concentrated entirely on linocut. I feel that linocut, whilst a simple and direct printmaking technique, offers endless aesthetic possibilities. It has a robust physicality and despite the considered nature of printmaking the results for me appear spontaneous and immediate.
