Shortlisted for both the Fremantle & Geelong print prizes.
It’s been a great year so far, being shortlisted for both the Fremantle & Geelong print prizes. Both are self portraits & were started in 2016 & completed this year with hand coloured pencil.
Shortlisted for the 2023 Burnie Print Prize.
My hand coloured linocut ‘The Last Great Industrial Heartland’ has been shortlisted for the 2023 Burnie Print Prize. The exhibition of the selected prints will run from July 21 until September 8 at the Burnie Museum & Gallery, Burnie, Tasmania.

‘Song & Dance Demons’ acquired by the Queensland State Library.
My concertina book, ‘Song & Dance Demons’, has been acquired by the State Library of Queensland. It was one of three ‘demon’ versions I made using monotype prints. The other two versions are held in the NSW State Library & the Charles Sturt University collections.
Shortlisted for the Northern Beaches Artists’ Book Awards
‘Corio Idyll’, a concertina book of hand coloured linocuts, has been shortlisted for the Northern Beaches Artists’ Book Awards. The winners will be announced on March 2 & the exhibition of shortlisted books will be at the Manly Art Gallery (Sydney, NSW) from March 3 until April 16.

Being shortlisted for the Swan Hill Print & Drawing Prize is becoming a bit of a habit. My limited edition artists’ book ‘Divining The Entrails’ makes it my fourth shortlisting in a row. It is one of the more prestigious print prizes in Australia & my work invariably keeps excellent company.

‘Divining The Entrails’ into 2 prestigious collections.
My limited edition book, ‘Divining The Entrails’, has been acquired by both the State Library of Victoria and the National Library of Australia for their artists’ book collections. The concertina book is in an edition of 7 and comprises 20 linocuts exploring the theme of magical thinking in times of existential crisis.
